Requirements


Model 3250 System Requirements

The following are required to install the Model 3250 Thermal Desorption System:

  1. Agilent Model 6890/6890N/7890 Gas Chromatograph.
     

  2. G1552A or G3452A Split/splitless inlet with EPC (electronic pressure control).  This is normally the FRONT inlet position.
     

  3. One (1) open inlet position on the Model 6890 GC, or one (1) open EPC module on the 7890 GC.  This is normally the REAR/BACK inlet position.  The PCM (pneumatics control module) requires an inlet EPC position for control.
     

  4. CTC/LEAP Technologies Re.PAL, Combi.PAL or DI.PAL autosampler.  The autosampler is also availabe as a complete/turn-key package, along with the Model 3250, from Microanalytics.  See below.
     

  5. Cycle Composer™ or Cruise Control™ software Version 1.50 or higher. See below for a complete system.


COMPLETE TURN-KEY SYSTEMS

A complete installation package is available for Agilent Model 6890 GCs without inlets and/or the autosampler robotics.  The Model 3250-C comes complete with:

  • Thermal desorption system, complete with accessory pack.

  • PCM Module for Model 6890/7890 GC.

  • RePAL robotics autosampler with liquid injection capabilities.

  • Cruise Control/Cycle Composer software and Chemstation drivers.

  • Installation, testing and training.

Upon your purchase, the Model 3250 will be professionally installed by a Microanalytics technical representative.  All materials necessary for immediate usage are included with the installation packet, including the sampling and desorb/injection macros for the Cycle Composer/Cruise Control™ software.
